Gustav N\u00e4sman Olai is a Swedish musician and musicologist specialising in medieval music. He plays, among other things, the gittern, citole, bagpipes, shawms<\/em> and sings<\/em>.<\/p>\n

With a background in traditional music, Gustav turned to medieval music at an early age and has been active as a musician since 2006. Over time, his interest in going directly to the sources and artistically exploring the music on a musicological basis also grew.<\/p>\n

Gustav has a master's degree in musicology from Uppsala University and has studied at Medieval Music Besal\u00f9, where he now teaches playing medieval string instruments.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
